Anna and Adrian

The weather leading up to Anna and Adrian’s wedding date was unpredictable. One moment it was sunny, the next it was raining. Having based a lot of their wedding theme around it being a warm summers day, we felt anxious with them that the weather could let down their visions for their big day. But, despite the dreary weather forecasts expected for that date. The sun shone high and bright and pushed its way through the grey clouds. It was almost as if someone up there was looking down making sure nothing came in the way of their day being exactly what they deserved; which we believe to be nothing far from the truth!

From the tiny delicate details to the big amazing things they had planned for their guests, the thought, care and time that they had put into making the day happy, fun and sentimental was beyond anything we had seen before. It was so well thought out and organised and because of this, the day ran perfectly and not a dry eye or empty space on dancefloor was in sight.

Anna and Adrian started their mornings apart as tradition goes. Meeting at the end of the aisle, in the most beautiful church set in Widley. A church that Anna’s brother actually works at. With her proud brother leading the ceremony, Anna and her bridesmaids and gorgeous flower girls in their soft elegant yellow dresses walked gracefully by her side. It was a unique service tailored to suit them both sweetly and after a lot of happy tears they were pronounced husband and wife and Adrian kissed his stunning bride.

During their exit, a flash mob choir hidden within the friends and family each stood singing the love actually rendition of ‘all you need is love’ It was spectacular – even if some of the guests stood up and started singing with them completely unaware it wasn’t part of the service. (yes, it was all caught on film).

By vintage bus , the newlyweds and their close friends and family travelled the short distance to the venue. The MC was Gary Evans weddings and was amazing at getting the crowd excited and informed about each part of the day from speeches to the evening DJ finale with the bride and groom wowing the crowd on the decks – he was amazing!! There was even a selfie slideshow which we had some laughs at – where guests could send in their phone snaps to the system and they appeared on a large screen for all to see.

Once dinner had been served the ice cream van bell rang. We’d never seen so many full-grown adults so excited to get their hands on a soft scoop with a flake. Running to the door, it made a perfect opportunity for us to get some fun snaps of the happy couple and introduced the evening perfectly.

With the day was far from over – More surprises that Anna and Adrian had organised were revealed with a secret first dance choregraphed by one of annas close friends. The grooms, and bridesmaids jumped in and danced to a mash up of classics that had everyone laughing. Those late-night rehearsals most defiantly paid off!

Overall, we would say that Anna and Adrian’s, fun, kind, thoughtful and sentimental nature was so apparent in every part of the day and judging by the guests faces, they put on an amazing day that people will be talking about for years.

Wishing you a long, healthy and happy marriage together!

To the Bride and Groom.
